Megan’s involvement with the closet began when Nicole reached out to parents in the Oak Forest area seeking donations for her new organization. When Megan recognized that families were interested in donating car seats, she immediately offered her services and expertise as a Child Passenger Safety Technician to ensure that any seats were free of recalls, damage and in generally safe shape to allow them to be appropriately used by other children. She also worked to create the system that manages our client data, tracks much of the impact we have on families we serve, and helps to manage requests for specific items and programs. Megan lives just a few blocks from the closet with her husband Ragnar and their two children.
